Dr. Orazio L. Giliberti FACS was trained in laser vision correction in Canada, prior to FDA approval in the United States. He was the first ophthalmologist in New Jersey to receive training in Toronto directly with VISX, the world’s leading eye laser company. He offers custom care in the latest methods of refractive surgery, including: bladeless PRK, epi-LASEK, and LASIK.
Dr. Orazio L. Giliberti FACS is also an innovator in laser cataract surgery and special uses of custom intraocular lens (IOL) implants.
In addition to being in private practice, Dr. Orazio L. Giliberti, FACS holds many University positions. At St. George’s University School of Medicine (Grenada), he is a Professor and Director of Ophthalmology, as well as the Associate Dean of Clinical Studies. At Seton Hall University, Dr. Orazio L. Giliberti FACS is an Assistant Clinical Professor and Chairman of the GME Department of Ophthalmology. At Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, he is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology.
